Buzz Bites (11/11/13): Eminem, Miley Cyrus + One Direction Win Big At The 2013 MTV EMA

Eminem took home two EMAs last night.
Em had not one, but two big wins last night.
Eminem took home Best Hip Hop and Global Icon, Miley Cyrus nabbed Best Video for "Wrecking Ball," and One Direction scored Best Pop at the 2013 MTV EMA on Sunday. See the complete winners' list. (MTV News)
Lady Gaga's "Do What U Want" collaborator, R. Kelly," may have sung "I Believe I Can Fly," but it's Mother Monster who actually accomplished that feat. Yesterday, Gaga debuted a flying dress at her album launch party, ARTRAVE, in Brooklyn. "Volantis is essentially a vehicle," Gaga explained of the curvy dress before she took flight. (MTV News)
Kanye West made a surprise appearance at Odd Future's Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival on Saturday in Los Angeles, where he performed "New Slaves." (Billboard)
+ Celebs and dignitaries alike sent love to the Philippines, where more than 10,000 are feared dead after the country suffered massive devastation from Typhoon Haiyan over the weekend. "Navy, please keep the people of The Philippines in your prayers! I was just there and this truly breaks my heart," Rihanna tweeted. (CNN)
Britney Spears has been named a VH1 "Save The Music" ambassador. Britney joins Cher LloydHunter Hayes, and the rest of the 2014 ambassador class to help raise money for school music programs. (Rolling Stone)
